We are seeking a skilled automotive service advisor to join our team in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and provide excellent customer service to our clients. The service advisor will greet customers, assess service needs, and recommend appropriate services and repairs. The role also includes scheduling appointments, coordinating with the service department, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

• Greet customers and determine their vehicle service needs.
• Assess service requirements and recommend appropriate services and repairs.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with the service department to ensure timely service.
• Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle status and service progress.
• Monitor and strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI).

• Strong background in automotive service
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to keep customers informed of vehicle status
• Ability to assess service needs and recommend appropriate services
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating with the service department
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of CSI

• Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods during the workday.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Use a computer, phone, and dealership software systems regularly.
  • Enter and exit vehicles frequently.
• Driving Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Work Environment
  • Fast-paced service drive and office environment.
  • Occasional exposure to noise, vehicle exhaust, and outdoor elements.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferred.
• Prior automotive service advisor or customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of vehicle systems, service writing, and warranty processes.
• Strong communication, sales, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience with dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plus.
