The Enterprise Governance & Operations Program Manager serves as a strategic generalist focused on advancing governance, risk mitigation, operational maturity, and enterprise support initiatives across the organization. This role exists to ensure critical governance, legal, compliance, operational resiliency, and back-office initiatives receive dedicated execution support and do not compete directly against revenue-generating or technology-focused project priorities.
The role operates cross-functionally and partners closely with Legal, Human Resources, Information Services, Security, Vendor Management, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to research challenges, coordinate initiatives, improve processes, and drive organizational follow-through.
This individual will help transform ideas, observations, risks, and operational challenges into structured initiatives with measurable outcomes while increasing execution capacity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Risk Initiatives
- Coordinate and support governance, compliance, legal, operational resiliency, audit, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and advancing remediation efforts arising from audits, assessments, operational reviews, or identified risks.
- Support policy implementation, documentation efforts, governance workflows, and operational control improvements.
- Help ensure governance-oriented initiatives receive appropriate visibility, coordination, and follow-through.
- Partner with business leaders and operational teams to research issues, identify root causes, and assist in developing practical solutions.
- Coordinate initiatives that span multiple departments and require strong organization and stakeholder management.
- Assist with operational process improvement efforts and organizational efficiency initiatives.
- Support the development of reporting, tracking, documentation, and executive summaries related to projects and operational activities.
- Conduct research and analysis related to operational, vendor, compliance, technology, process, or organizational challenges.
- Organize information from multiple stakeholders into actionable recommendations and structured work efforts.
- Help identify process gaps, inefficiencies, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist leadership teams in driving projects from concept through implementation and operationalization.
- Increase execution capacity for leadership teams by helping coordinate initiatives, organize information, track progress, and facilitate follow-through.
- Help maximize the effectiveness and output of operational and support teams by reducing administrative and coordination burdens on senior leaders and specialists.
- Assist with prioritization, communication, and alignment across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across technical, operational, and executive teams.
- Ability to independently research issues, synthesize information, and drive initiatives forward.
- Demonstrated attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader organizational objectives.
- Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects, operational initiatives, governance efforts, PMO activities, compliance initiatives, legal operations, or process improvement efforts.
- Familiarity with operational workflows, risk management concepts, or organizational governance practices.
- Experience working in regulated or operationally complex environments is preferred.
- Naturally curious and resourceful.

- Able to balance structure and flexibility.

This role will work closely with executive leadership and partner extensively across operational, governance, legal, compliance, and support functions throughout the organization.
