Field Supervisor

Transdev in Fairfax County is hiring a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day field operations and is customer service‑oriented with a focus on safety.

• Position subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Starting pay $26.15/hr
• Increase to $27.45/hr effective August 5, 2026

• Vacation applicable after 1 year of service

• Manage operators scheduling & staffing of routes.
• Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
• Perform operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and respond to situations, and resolve operational issues.
• Read maps and interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience
• Ability to secure a Class B CDL with a P endorsement
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Work includes long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
