Job Description

SOSi is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Fairfax, VA. This position plays a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support organizational decision-making and strategic planning. The analyst prepares timely, accurate, and mission-relevant intelligence products that help our customer identify and assess patterns of activity, document findings, and support operational and strategic investigative objectives. The Intelligence Analyst will work closely with a team of professionals to provide insights that inform policy, operations, and mission-critical decisions.

Job Duties
  • Analyze foreign-language and English-language investigative materials, including criminal communications, source documents, reports, transactional communication records, and related case information.

  • Review extensive transactional communication records and use approved technological tools, databases, and analytical methods to identify communication patterns, relationships, timelines, common identifiers, criminal activity, and investigative leads.

  • Evaluate criminal communications, often occurring in Spanish or other applicable languages, to help advance investigative goals and objectives.

  • Prepare written intelligence products, including analytical reports, link charts, timelines, summaries, PowerPoint presentations, target packages, and other case-support materials documenting criminal organizations, communications, and investigative findings.

  • Develop and verbally brief intelligence products, findings, and analytical assessments to investigators, analysts, government stakeholders, and other authorized personnel.

  • Report daily, or as directed, to the COR or COR designee regarding findings derived from linguistic analyst reporting, analysis of foreign conversations, source documents, and other investigative materials.

  • Receive assignments, priorities, data, and other directions from the Site Supervisor and COR, or COR designee, and execute work in accordance with contract requirements and government-approved procedures.

  • Support projects of major significance requiring advanced analytical knowledge, independent judgment, and the ability to apply sound methods to complex information sets.

  • Coordinate professionally with site leadership, linguistic analysts, investigators, and other mission partners to clarify requirements, validate analytical assumptions, and support timely delivery of accurate work products.

  • Maintain confidentiality, operational security, and proper handling of law enforcement-sensitive, investigative, and personally identifiable information in accordance with applicable procedures.

  • Obtain approval from the Site Supervisor and COR before making or recommending any changes relating to staffing, procedures, workflow, or policy.

  • Perform other intelligence-analysis duties directly related to the contract scope and mission requirements, as assigned through authorized channels.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree; or a minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or equivalent analytical and specialized experience as an intelligence analyst.

  • Experience should include tactical and strategic intelligence analysis and, where applicable, military analyst schools, law enforcement analytical training, or equivalent specialized training.

  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear written products and present findings verbally.

  • Ability to review and evaluate large volumes of communications data and operate approved technological tools and databases used to analyze criminal activity.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate criminal communications, often occurring in Spanish or another applicable language, to advance investigative goals and objectives.

  • Professional certification for the applicable language or significant work experience demonstrating applicable language capability, when required by assignment.

  • Fully capable of preparing written work products, including PowerPoint presentations, reports, charts, and other products documenting intelligence analysis of criminal organizations.

  • Fully capable of developing and verbally presenting intelligence products and analysis to other analysts and investigators.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting similar environment with government customer.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, and the ability to learn government-approved systems and databases quickly.
