Summary:

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to lead end‑to‑end contract management activities in support of dynamic defense and civilian programs at our Fairfax, VA location. This role plays a critical part in shaping compliant, competitive, and strategically aligned contract actions for a diverse portfolio of customers within HII All Domain operating unit. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of federal contracting and IDIQ management.

This role supports a hybrid work schedule out of our Fairfax, VA office.

What You Will Do:

- Manage the full lifecycle of standard and non‑standard contracts, including administration, negotiation, modifications, extensions, and closeout

- Support proposal development by preparing contract volumes, contributing to pricing strategies, and ensuring accuracy and compliance

- Lead contract negotiations with customers and partners in alignment with company policies, FAR/DFARS requirements, and customer specifications

- Review estimates, pricing data, material and service requirements, and performance criteria for completeness and compliance

- Prepare bids and maintain contract‑specific documentation, reports, and historical records

- Serve as a primary liaison with internal teams and external customers, advising leadership on contractual rights, obligations, risks, and opportunities

- Analyze contract data, performance metrics, and financial impacts to support decision‑making

- Develop and maintain contract‑specific estimating tools and templates

- Share knowledge and best practices through training, mentoring, and consistent guidance to teammates

- Highly organized with attention to detail

- Able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
