Residential Construction Superintendent​/Project Manager

Our client is a growing custom residential construction firm specializing in high-end renovations, additions, and luxury single-family home projects throughout the Northern Virginia market. Their work focuses heavily on craftsmanship, organization, communication, and delivering an exceptional client experience from project kickoff through completion.

They are seeking a Residential Construction Superintendent / Project Manager who takes pride in quality construction, enjoys leading projects from start to finish, and wants to grow long-term within a collaborative and team-oriented environment. This individual will play a critical role managing luxury residential remodels, additions, and new construction projects while serving as the day‑to‑day leader on‑site.

• Own and manage residential construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, inspections, homeowner communication, and project execution.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation within Buildertrend.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, and finish installations.
• Hold subcontractors accountable to scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Manage project quality control processes and implement QC checklists.
• Attend and actively participate in client meetings and internal planning meetings.
• Maintain daily logs, project photos, and weekly progress updates.
• Coordinate material ordering, delivery tracking, and field logistics.
• Assist with permit tracking, inspections, and project documentation.
• Identify safety concerns and quality improvement opportunities.
• Lead field communication and ensure projects remain clean, organized, and client‑ready.

• 5+ years of residential construction management or superintendent experience.
• Strong background managing single‑family residential projects, luxury remodels, additions, or custom home construction.
• Comfortable overseeing projects end‑to‑end with minimal oversight.
• Experience working directly with homeowners and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience using Buildertrend or similar construction/project management software preferred.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project timelines simultaneously.
• Willingness to be hands‑on when needed to help maintain project standards and site organization.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Base salary ranging from $65,000 – $100,000 depending on experience. Performance‑based bonuses tied to larger projects. Christmas bonus opportunities. Company truck or mileage reimbursement.
