Construction Site Superintendent

CMTA is a Legence Company that specializes in sustainable, high-performance building engineering, applying a data‑driven, holistic approach to consulting engineering, performance contracting, and zero energy projects.

The Construction Site Superintendent is responsible for ensuring a smooth and successful fulfillment of the contract after the design phase. The role requires strong experience with HVAC/mechanical systems, commercial construction and excellent communication skills. Travel to job sites is required.

• Pre‑Contract
  
  Activities:
  • Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
  • Assist with pre‑construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
• Construction:
  • Develop construction schedule and manage sub‑contractors to hit required milestones on schedule
  • Develop project safety binder and review with subcontractors
  • Administer safety program
  • Assist with managing equipment lead times
  • Order any construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)
  • Lead construction review meetings
  • Weekly field reports documenting progress for the Owner
  • Assist with the commissioning effort
  • Register applicable equipment for warranties
  • Schedule factory start‑ups and ensure start‑up sheets are filled out and submitted as required for warranties
  • Owner training – scheduling, coordination, etc.
  • Project punch lists
• Post‑Construction:
  • Address project issues
  • Help resolve warranty issues as needed
  • Develop O&M manuals and as‑builts
