Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4
EVER Strategy.
Responsible for cost estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, cost forecasting including monthly projections. Managing project hours and work with job superintendents or foreman if adjustments are needed. Interact with general contractors and subcontractors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience;
- Four years construction management, estimating, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction
- Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
- Must maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, estimating, schedules and safety required.
- Experience in the electrical construction industry.
Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with standards, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, other contractors, etc.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise Project Management functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
Investigate any situations with potential project impacts, mitigate wherever possible and initiate correcting actions as necessary.
Work closely with on-site Foreman and General Foreman to supervise craft employees.
Work closely with Project Management team to supervise the work of other contractors as required by the contract.
May provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff or other Project Managers.
Provide technical assistance (i.e., interpretations of drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required).
Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders. Review all changes submitted for accuracy of scope.
Negotiate change order pricing and manage the change order approvals per project.
Responsible for contractual performance of the project.
Ensure company’s safety initiatives are followed by all on-site employees. Investigate, report, and correct any safety-related incidents.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
