Allan Myers is excited to announce an internal opportunity for the role of Alternative Delivery Engineer to work within our Alternative Delivery Group performing leadership and management functions to advance our portfolio of successful and award-winning transportation infrastructure projects throughout Myers footprint.

This position is ideal for candidates with hands on engineering and construction operations / management experience, proven leadership, facilitation, and collaboration skills, an interest in working within a Team focused on progressing our reputation and success within the alternative delivery space, and collaborating with our design partners, construction teams, and clients to advance the design and construction of our alternative delivery projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and maintain a working knowledge of all project Technical Requirements and how they apply to the procurement, design, and construction of a specific project.
• Perform technical writing to support the development of qualification packages, proposals, and pre‑construction submittals that contribute to Myers goal to win the war for work.
• Identify, evaluate, and quantify project risks and develop/track a project‑wide risk register to manage risks throughout the life of the project to achieve project success.
• Actively work with Myers construction teams to perform constructability reviews and recommendations leading to more efficient design that align with Myers mission and vision.
