Construction Health & Safety Manager
Fairfax, Falls Church, VA Area
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and administer the Site-Specific Health & Safety Program (HASP)
- Lead incident investigations, conduct witness interviews, and report all safety‑related findings
- Conduct daily site reviews and inspections throughout the VA/DC region
- Review and assist in preparation of Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)
- Implement the Energy Based Safety System including weekly high energy control assessments
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, health sciences, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of health and safety compliance experience in the construction industry
- CHST certification required; ASP/CSP and OSHA 500 preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong collaborative, patient, and diplomatic approach to safety management
