Parking Operations Specialist (
* Restricted)
This position will perform routine administrative, operational, financial, and customer-support services related to campus parking, transportation, and NOVACard operations. Duties and tasks include performing front office duties such as permit sales, citation payments, NOVACard issuance, cash drawer reconciliation & general customer support; managing print services, troubleshooting paper jams; and performing parking enforcement duties including checking parking areas for infractions, issuing citations, and maintaining parking equipment and hardware.
This position is not eligible for telework.
Key skills and required qualifications include the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and guidelines; strong interpersonal skills; ability to answer phones; good problem solving and critical thinking skills; customer service experience; experience working in an office environment; computer experience working in a Windows environment; and an unrestricted valid driver's license in good standing.
Additional considerations include cash-handling experience and experience dealing with customer concerns and problems. This position will require travel between NOVA campuses, primarily the Medical Education Campus (MEC) and Annandale (AN).
