City of Fairfax is seeking Police Dispatchers to answer calls, dispatch officers, and monitor radio communications from the Emergency Communications Center. Training includes on‑the‑job instruction and an Academy course for entry‑level dispatchers, with certification in NCIC/VCIN requirements.
Dispatched personnel will work rotating day/evening shifts within the Administrative Services Division, under supervision, and may participate in enhanced data entry, warrant checks, and related dispatch
