Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design and Sales role based in Fairfax, VA. The individual in this position will meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, and translate these into cohesive kitchen and bath design concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design proposals, creating drawings and visual presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing estimates or bids to support the sales process.

The role involves guiding clients through product options, presenting design solutions, and following up on leads to drive project sales. The team member will coordinate with project managers and installers to ensure designs are feasible, accurately documented, and aligned with client expectations, while maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

• Visual design capabilities, including Graphic Design and creation of presentation Graphics, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Foundational knowledge in Architecture and interior space planning to develop functional kitchen and bath layouts.
• Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to produce accurate drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong Research skills to stay current on design trends, materials, fixtures, and building standards relevant to kitchen and bath projects.
• Previous experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, or related fields is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated sales aptitude, including client consultation, proposal development, and closing projects in a design/build or home improvement environment.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work on-site in Fairfax, VA and collaborate effectively with designers, project managers, and installation teams.
• Relevant education such as a degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
