This part‑time on‑site role, located in Fairfax, VA, is for a Violin Teacher at Moon School of Music. The Violin Teacher will be responsible for instructing students of various skill levels and ages, preparing individualized lesson plans, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Duties will include teaching music performance techniques, applying music theory concepts, and advising students on practice routines.

Collaboration with other instructors to create performance opportunities and continuous professional development are encouraged to maintain high teaching standards.

• Proficiency in Violin and strong skills in Music Performance
• Thorough understanding of Music Theory and ability to teach it effectively
• Background or experience in Music Education
• A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students in their musical journey
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students and parents
• Flexibility to work part-time and on-site in Fairfax, VA
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent professional experience is preferred
• Experience teaching students of varying ages and skill levels is a plus
