About the Position:

The Adjunct Applied Classical Trumpet Professor will teach individualized lessons, starting August 24, 2026.

Responsibilities:

* Teach Applied Classical Trumpet during daytime hours on campus;

* Assist with recruitment for the Trumpet Studio; and

* Participate in Brass Area initiatives, including performances, faculty recitals, auditions, and juries.

Required Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Music required;

* Successful experience teaching at the college level;

* Demonstrated experience working with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds; and

* An established reputation as a professional artist with a documented portfolio of live performances.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Doctorate in Music.
