Overview

George Mason University College of Education and Human Development invites applications from highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Inclusive Early Childhood Education (IECE) program and the Secondary Education (SEED) program, both state‑approved initial licensure programs.

Instructors will teach coursework offered in various learning formats, including online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face sessions. Hybrid or in‑person classes will be held on the Fairfax campus.

• PhD/EdD in Education or a related field for graduate level instruction
• Master’s in Education or a related field for undergraduate level instruction
• Content and/or professional expertise that matches courses in the SEED or IECE program (e.g., experience in instruction and assessment in the respective subject area)

• University teaching experience
• Experience with online teaching
• Knowledge of Canvas or other learning management systems
