CASI is seeking a skilled Korean Instructor to support a high-priority customer mission. The role requires full-time, in‑person instruction and language assessment responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated strong adult teaching experience, be passionate about language instruction, and be able to adapt materials to meet customized learning needs. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required; clearance sponsorship is available for candidates who pass the required language assessments.

• Provide in‑person instruction to advanced‑level adult students (ILR 2–3).
• Apply both linguistic expertise and teaching skills to support critical mission requirements.
• Summarize, gist, translate, triage, and perform quality control or editing of foreign‑language materials into accurate, professional American English.
• Deliver instruction that incorporates cultural, regional, and geopolitical context relevant to the target language.
• Maintain instructional excellence and adapt teaching materials to meet learner needs.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution or from an institution in the country where Korean is spoken. Must have a minimum of 5+ years of direct adult teaching experience; or 7–10 years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to pass an advanced English proficiency translation assessment at a level 4 or higher (Senior Level).
• Ability to achieve ILR Level 5 in speaking, listening, and reading in Korean.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical, cultural, regional, and ethnic dynamics of Korean‑speaking areas.
• Proficient with MS Office and skilled in online research.

• Familiarity with one or more Korean regional dialects.
• Experience in consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation.
