Adjunct Applied Composition and Music Technology
George Mason University is seeking an Adjunct Applied Composition and Music Technology Professor to start teaching on August 24, 2026. The position is part-time and requires teaching individualized lessons in composition and music technology. Responsibilities include participating in recitals and juries, as well as engaging in initiatives within the composition and music technology areas. Applicants must have a Doctorate in Music Composition or equivalent experience, a strong portfolio as a composer, and successful teaching experience.
Preferred qualifications include university-level teaching experience and skills in music technology, orchestration, arranging, songwriting, and chamber music coaching.
