Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Fairfax, VA

This contract-to-hire position is designed for dedicated professionals ready to make a difference as a Special Education Teacher during the Extended School Year. Work directly, one-on-one, with 1st grade students to develop critical learning and social skills in a nurturing, structured environment.

Leverage your strengths as a BCBA, Special Education Teacher, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as you support students with behavioral needs, particularly those with Autism and ADHD. With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, you’ll have ample time to create meaningful relationships and guide student growth.

• BCBA, RBT, or Special Education Teacher certification required
• Previous experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD preferred
• Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies
• Experience working in school-based settings highly valued
• Passion for individualized student support and tailored instruction
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and other educators

• Deliver one-on-one instruction to 1st grade students with behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans in adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with on-site administration and multidisciplinary teams for student success
• Track student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Provide a supportive, structured learning environment that encourages student confidence and growth
