Position Summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems (SES) division has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Scheduler. As a Senior Program Scheduler at Trident SES, you ll prepare resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and provide detailed schedule, work, and resource analysis in support of multiple Space Electronics Systems programs. You will aid in implementing an Earned Value Management System (EVMS)-lite process for baselining and statusing the programs, performing analysis to ensure proper control.

To be successful, you must have a background in program planning as it relates to the development and maintenance of complex program schedule networks.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare EVMS baseline schedules compliant with program planning, execution, performance measurement, and reporting.
  • Interface with Program Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations to establish the performance measurement baseline to meet customer requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to update and monitor schedule status and performance.
  • Perform regular critical and driving path analysis, review results, and interface with program management to make schedule recommendations.
  • Support the Business Development department with proposal schedule creation.
  • Maintain, publish, and present planning and scheduling information and metrics to program team and leadership to ensure program visibility.
  • Assist in the preparation of program review documents and customer required documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent experience/combined education)
  • 6+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling or 4+ years of related experience with a Master s degree (10+ years in lieu of a degree)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong organizational, analysis, time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task high priorities while dealing with some ambiguity.
  • Ability to demonstrate professional written and oral communications, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal oversight.
  • High degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Earned Value Management processes using MS Project.
  • DoD and/or government Program Planning Experience
  • Experience with proposal activities (WBS Development, IMS development).
  • APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP or PMI-SP Certification desired.
