Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience in land development to join our growing team in Northern VA. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and design skills, experience managing projects from concept through construction, and a solid understanding of Virginia’s regulatory environment.

Design and manage land development projects including residential subdivisions, commercial sites, and municipal improvements.

Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.

Perform site grading, stormwater management, utility design, and roadway design.

Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Assist in permitting processes and respond to agency review comments.

Support project managers and contribute to proposal preparation and project scheduling.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

EIT certification required; PE license in Virginia preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months).

4+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong understanding of Virginia development codes, permitting processes, and design standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
