Project Manager - Electrical Vehicle; EV Infrastructure Design

Job Description

Dewberry is seeking a Project Manager to work with our National Electrical Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Team in either the Orlando, FL or Boston, MA office. The role involves leading design and implementation of EV charging infrastructure for utilities, transit authorities, and private EV companies.

• Work with Professional Engineers to develop civil and electrical engineering designs for electric vehicle charging station projects, including preliminary design visits, conceptual plans, zoning/planning coordination, permit documentation, and construction-level design plans.
• Collaborate with CAD staff to prepare plans for submittal to local authorities.
• Assist Senior Staff and Professional Engineers in preparing project reports and submittals.
• Help with project management, budgeting, and proposal preparation.
• Perform field work to gather existing conditions information and conduct construction inspections.

Boston, MA: $100,013 - $128,588

• B.S. in Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years experience, including prior EV design experience.
• Desirable experience: land development, grading, storm water, utility design, & solar.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving is required.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains; capable of stooping, crawling, bending, squatting, and lifting 50 lbs; able to stand for long periods on varied surfaces.
