Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Level5 System Integration/Testing Engineer to lead the integration, test, and verification of advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Satellite‑Based Augmentation System (SBAS) solutions. The role involves applying rigorous systems‑engineering and software‑development processes, ensuring compliance with industry‑standard development‑assurance guidelines, and delivering high‑reliability navigation capabilities for our commercial customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute integration, test, and verification plans for GNSS/SBAS hardware and software, including test‑procedure creation, test execution, data analysis, and reporting.
- Apply SAEARP
4754A, SAEARP
4761, RTCADO-178C, DO-278A, and/or DO-254 as appropriate to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness. - Conduct hazard assessments, FMEA, and other safety analyses; mitigate technical and program risks.
- Work closely with software, hardware, RF, electrical, and mission‑operations teams to resolve integration issues.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as a subject‑matter expert on GNSS/SBAS technologies.

- Familiar with the application of systems engineering and software development processes to design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems.
- Experience with Global Navigation Satellite System (e.g., GPS, Galileo, etc.).
- Must have an Interim Secret Clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Satellite Based Augmentation System familiarity.
- Knowledge of Global Navigation Satellite System (e.g., GPS, Galileo, etc.).
- Systems engineering background (requirements, design, interfaces, etc.).
- Willingness / ability to travel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
