Lockheed Martin Space seeks a Level5 System Integration/Testing Engineer to lead the integration, test, and verification of advanced GNSS and SBAS solutions, applying rigorous systems‑engineering and software‑development processes and ensuring compliance with industry‑standard development‑assurance guidelines.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute integration, test, and verification plans for GNSS/SBAS hardware and software, including test‑procedure creation, test execution, data analysis, and reporting.
- Apply SAEARP
4754A, SAEARP
4761, RTCADO‑178C, DO‑278A, and/or DO‑254 to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness. - Conduct hazard assessments, FMEA, and other safety analyses to mitigate technical and program risks.
- Coordinate across software, hardware, RF, electrical, and mission‑operations teams to resolve integration issues.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as subject‑matter expert on GNSS/SBAS technologies.
- Communicate status, risks, and technical findings to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

- Familiarity with applying systems engineering and software development processes to the design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems.
- Experience with Global Navigation Satellite Systems such as GPS or Galileo.
- Hands‑on experience with complex software development, continuous integration processes/metrics in C++, Java, Python or other modern programming language.
- Familiarity with Satellite Based Augmentation Systems.
- Knowledge of Global Navigation Satellite Systems.
- Systems engineering background (requirements, design, interfaces).
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
