Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of sprinkler system servicing, including advanced inspections, complex troubleshooting, and in‑depth repairs.
  • Plan and perform inspections and testing of fire alarm, special hazard systems, kitchen hoods, and preaction systems.
  • Provide expert‑level diagnostics and solutions for challenging technical issues in sprinkler and preaction systems to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Oversee and conduct testing of all types of fire suppression systems.
  • Develop and implement advanced maintenance strategies, system upgrades, and enhancement plans to optimize system performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians, imparting knowledge, skills, and best practices for effective service delivery.
  • Develop training plans and conduct trainings on different aspects of fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and oversee large‑scale projects involving fire alarm systems.
  • Conduct thorough system assessments, analyze performance data, and recommend system enhancements for maximum efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
  • Emphasize safety, quality service delivery, and customer satisfaction in all service activities, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert and provide remote assistance to other team members for all aspects of sprinkler system servicing.
  • Serve as the quality‑control authority for assessing the work of other team members.
  • Lead and manage sprinkler system surveys to identify system condition, compliance with NFPA codes and other applicable regulations, analyze coverage and functionality, and provide assessment and recommendations for system performance improvement and life prolongation.
  • Prepare, review, and assess various documentation regarding sprinkler system installation, service, and maintenance, including installation plans, commissioning plans, testing plans, methods of procedure, schedules, etc.
  • Be on rotation to respond to after‑hours service calls as scheduled by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma (required) with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a 2‑year technology degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Additional client background check required.
Certifications
  • Possess NICET III in Inspection and Testing of Water‑Based Systems.
  • Pass NICET III exam within 90 days of employment.
  • NICET IV in Inspection and Testing of Water‑Based Systems (preferred).
  • Possess State Backflow Certification (preferred).
  • Possess Fire Pump Test Certification (preferred).
Required Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 13, NEC, Fire Sprinkler System Theory, OSHA requirements, and industry standards for fire sprinkler systems installation.

  • Above average communication skills with customers, other field personnel, office staff, and subcontractors.
