Sr Electrical Engineer PE / Project Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking a senior electrical project manager with 10+ years of engineering consulting experience. Successful candidates will have experience in electrical building systems design (lighting, power distribution, etc.) and 3–5 years of recent project management experience overseeing schematics through construction administration, staff, schedules, budgets, scope of work, etc. Projects include municipal & federal buildings, transportation/utility infrastructure, office buildings, and more.

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit required, along with strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• PE License required
• 10+ years of experience designing and managing MEP projects
• 3–5+ years of project management and construction administration, overseeing staff, schedules, budgets, scope of work, etc.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software
• Proven experience as an electrical engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects
• Ability to develop electrical designs from concept through construction completion
• Preparation of engineering design calculations and layouts
• Preparation of detailed engineering reports and narratives
• Coordination of electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines
• Project experience: federal buildings, transportation/utility infrastructure, civic/institutional/municipal projects, office buildings
• Ability to mentor junior staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with local building codes & standards
• Strong technical leadership and management skills
