Overview
Garney is seeking a Field Engineer. The Field Engineer acts as the liaison between office engineers and the field team to ensure alignment, understanding, and efficient project progress on site.
Responsibilities- Surveying and layout of the job site
- Processing and reviewing shop drawings
- Updating as-built documents
- Auditing completed construction
- Completing daily and periodic report updates
- Coordinating subcontractor work
The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field and is willing to travel and work the days and hours required to ensure the project’s success. This position is suitable for someone seeking entry-level project management experience with an industry leader.
