Logos Technologies is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to support ongoing technology development efforts at our Fairfax, VA office. This role will contribute to ISR sensor design, high-powered laser systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle integration. This role will include research, design, development and testing of electronic subsystems and systems for development efforts.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Support the development and design of system from initial concept through prototype and low-rate production
- Research, design, develop, and test electrical components, both individually and as part of larger systems
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors responsible for component and subassembly manufacturing
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Assist in developing and maintaining project deliverables, including detailed plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reports for both customers and internal management.
Education, Experience & License or Certification:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2-4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories.
- Familiarity with Altium or comparable circuit-design tools.
- Experience designing circuit boards, cables, and sensor systems individually and as part of as team.
- Active Secret clearance or above US citizenship.
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with ISR systems
- Circuit Board Design with Altium or similar
- Experience with cable manufacturing, including crimping and lacing.
- Additive manufacturing experience a plus
- FPGA programming experience a plus
- Circuit board prototyping and repair
Travel/
Physical Requirements:
- May require some domestic and/or international travel
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and communicate, use hands/finger, feel, and reach with arms.
- This position requires the ability to lift, bend or stoop as necessary up to 20 lbs.
