RoleAs a Financial Advisor you will help clients achieve their financial goals, provide investment advice, and grow client relationships while supported by a collaborative work culture.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate member needs for financial services, assess objectives and goals, and develop investment strategies.
- Analyze client financial information—including assets, income, debts, cash flow, and tax status—to determine appropriate financial products.
- Schedule appointments with members through call lists or other reports.
- Collect client financial information in person, via video conference, or by telephone.
- Perform periodic reviews of existing client accounts and meet with clients monthly, quarterly, or yearly as needed.
- Stay current on market conditions; educate and update on financial and investment vehicles, tax and securities consequences.
- Attend required continuing education and keep current on investment products; meet monthly with the VP of Apple Financial Services.
- Drive investment and program integration initiatives with the credit union, including branch employee training and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Conduct client workshops or seminars on topics such as Social Security, education planning, and retirement planning.
- Represent the firm and assigned financial institution in relationships with clients, industry organizations, regulatory bodies, and other key outside parties.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (preferred).
- FINRA Series 7, Series 63/65 (or 66) licenses, plus Life, Accident & Health licenses as required.
- Clean U‑4 and background check.

Work branch hours – 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Keep a consistent schedule at designated branches, working three or more branches to identify and evaluate member needs.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 25 lbs. and utilize standard office equipment, including but not limited to PC, fax, copier, and telephone.
