Description:
CGI is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst that will: (1) provide audit liaison support for U.S. Government agency audits; (2) support Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance activities and deliverables; and (3) interpret and apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues. Works on problems of moderate complexity. Analysis of situations and/or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will report directly to CGI Federal's Director of Government Compliance. This position is located in Fairfax, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with management to ensure compliance with CAS and FAR and resolve compliance issues. Provides audit liaison support for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Department of State (DOS), and other U.S. Government agency audits. Assists with the preparation of the Company's provisional billing rates (P 's), forward pricing rates (FPR's) and annual incurred cost proposal (ICP) submissions.
Conducts internal timecard floor check audits and completes other compliance deliverables as assigned. Reviews Accounting, Finance, Contracts policies and procedures for compliance with established practices and FAR and CAS regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 2 years of experience working on U.S. Government CAS and FAR cost accounting compliance issues. Direct experience with providing audit liaison support on U.S. Government audits. Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a moderate level of guidance and direction. Can work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Working knowledge of government contract accounting. Incurred cost submission preparation experience a plus. Familiarity with CostPoint and Cognos Analytics preferred. Flexibility to travel as needed, (less than 10% of the time)
