The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairfax, VA, responsible for managing the vehicle financing and insurance process for customers. This role guides customers through financing options, explains products and terms clearly, and secures approvals from lenders while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies. The Finance Manager prepares and reviews all finance and lease documents, maintains accurate records, and works closely with sales and management teams to support dealership profitability and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing credit applications, structuring deals, presenting finance and protection products, and monitoring funding to ensure timely completion of transactions. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, staying current on industry regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes.
- Strong financial, analytical, and math skills, including experience reviewing credit applications, structuring deals, and interpreting financial terms.
- Knowledge of automotive finance, leasing, and insurance products, with the ability to explain options clearly and ethically to customers.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems, finance software, and common office tools (e.g., MS Office, digital documentation platforms).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long‑term relationships.
- Detail‑oriented approach to documentation, compliance, and record‑keeping, with familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales and management teams, work in a fast‑paced environment, and meet performance targets.
- Previous experience in automotive finance, banking, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- High school diploma required; college coursework or a degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, in accordance with company policy.
