We are currently searching for highly qualified Data Analysts to support these projects. As one of our Disaster Specialists, you will collaborate with some of the best and brightest in the industry and use your expertise to support critical recovery efforts in disaster-impacted communities.

Please note, this is a deployment-based position. Remote work is not permitted for this role.

- Data Specialist Responsibilities: deploy to disaster sites to support FEMA or other government entities in the delivery of disaster recovery programs such as the Public Assistance (PA) program or the FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) Direct Housing program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Data mining, analysis, maintenance and manipulation
- Entering data into electronic databases and spreadsheets
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Transferring data between multiple systems and applications
- Training personnel on the spreadsheets and/or databases
- Preparing reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Power BI
- Developing and maintaining electronic dashboards to present data
- Other administrative and clerical activities related to the disaster mission
- High School diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university is preferred
- Minimum two years of full-time experience with data analysis, data mining, reporting, and predictive modeling
- Experience creating data visualization tools such as web-based dashboards and familiarity with data-related coding languages or software
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
- Energetic, organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team under stressful conditions
- Ability to work up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week while deployed to a disaster recovery operation for up to 12 months
- Must have a valid driver s license and clean driving record
- Must be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance
