The City of Fairfax Police Department is hiring Police Dispatchers to answer emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch officers, and monitor the radio system from the Emergency Communications Center.
On-the-job training spans about 14 weeks with an Academy course for entry-level dispatchers. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, US citizenship, and a clean felony record.
