Job Responsibilities
- Provides work assignments, direction and support to Radiology Students based on program and individual student needs.
- Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies prior to procedures beginning.
- Operates imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications, as evidenced by exam results.
- Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start;
American Registered Radiologic Technologists Upon Start, Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT or ARDMS or CNT or CVT or NMTCB or RVT or CAMRT or NMTCB; as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required. - Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start State Licensure required for all INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers, but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital and/or in Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience - Three years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/ healthcare environment.
- Education - Associate’s degree or Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification.
- Experience:
Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
