Inova is Looking for a dedicated Patient Access Associate to join the team. This role will be Monday through Friday full-time hybrid.

- Patient Intake, Registration and Documentation:
Registers patients, verifies identity and insurance, collects basic information, enters demographics, and scans forms. - Administrative & Technology Operations:
Scans documents, answers phones, and uses electronic medical record (EMR) and eligibility tools. - Case Management Tasks:
Notifies case managers and documents referrals. - Financial Counseling:
Provides estimates and collects payments. - Insurance & Contract Coordination:
Verifies basic eligibility and coverage. - Inquiries & Patient Concerns:
Answers routine questions and escalates issues. - Health Information Management (HIM) Coordination:
Flags duplicate records and scans identification. - Utilization Review Coordination:
Flags cases needing review. - Compliance:
Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations. - May perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education - High School or GED
- contact center/healthcare experience preferred, has customer service, bilingual (Spanish)
