Senior Oracle Database Administrator job at Hott Source. Fairfax, VA.
Role: Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Fairfax, VA (Onsite)
Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 (150k - 300k including benefits)
Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI
I am working with a leading Defense and Space organization, based in Fairfax, who are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to support mission critical systems. Looking for a candidate that has experience working with Oracle 19c technologies and system administration practices in a Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure and maintain Oracle 19c, Clusterwase and standalone database environments.
- Develop and manage comprehensive Oracle RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
- Oracle Data Guard configuration, administration, and high availability concepts.
- Oracle PL/SQL and SQL programming
- Create and maintain automation scripts in Linux shell.
- Oracle 19c RAC, Clusterware installation, patching and admin
- Oracle 19c ASM installation, configuration and admin.
- PL/SQL & SQL development experience
- Linux shell scripting experience
- Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and deployment of Oracle.

Employer contributes 25% of base salary, no employee contribution required ($25,000 – $50,000 annually, paid in monthly) - Benefits Account (can be spent on benefits or taken as cash): 25% of base salary ($25,000 – $50,000)
