OVERVIEWphia is seeking a high-level Cloud Architect to design and implement continuous monitoring solutions, AI-enabled compliance automation, and secure cloud architectures for a federal bureau
. This role requires an expert who isn't just a builder, but a compliance automation expert.
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures leveraging AWS native security tools (Guard Duty, Security Hub, Inspector).
- Architect AI-powered tools for compliance automation, scanning, and real-time risk identification.
- Implement advanced networking security including AWS Firewall, Direct Connect, Outposts, and Reverse Proxy.
- Oversee encryption strategies (SSL/TLS) and enterprise-wide vulnerability identification.
- Integrate cloud security data into SIEM tools like Splunk for comprehensive visibility.
- A cloud security expert with 10 years of experience in federal government systems.
- An expert in AWS Security Services and networking (Direct Connect, Outposts, Reverse Proxy).
- Experienced in designing AI-powered tools for compliance automation.
- Prior experience with the Department of Justice (DOJ) is highly preferred.
- Education:
Master’s Degree required. - Experience:
10+ years in federal cloud/cloud security. - Clearance:
Public Trust / Suitability.
- Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. - Work Hours:
0730 – 1600 HRS EST, Monday through Friday. - Work Location:
Washington, DC. Hybrid/Telework is considered for unclassified work. - Travel:
Minimal travel may be required.
