DescriptionData Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality assurance efforts for systems and applications within the Army Resource Cloud (ARC/cPROBE) environment. The candidate will assist in implementing quality control processes, perform testing and defect management, and ensure compliance with DoD and Army standards. This role requires a motivated professional with 3 to 6 years of experience in IT and quality assurance to contribute to the delivery of secure and reliable systems supporting the Army's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.

- Current Security + Certification
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another relevant field is required.
- 3 to 6 years of IT and business/industry experience, with a focus on quality assurance, software testing, and process improvement.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices, including experience with software testing frameworks, defect tracking systems, and process improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of DoD and Army standards, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), cybersecurity compliance, and adherence to Army regulations such as AR 25-2 and AR 735-5.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and Dev Sec Ops practices, including automated testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and address quality issues effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or similar are preferred.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services and products meet established quality standards and industry benchmarks.
- Support the design and execution of test plans, scripts, and procedures to evaluate software systems using manual and automated methods.
- Identify, document, and track defects for resolution.
- Ensure adherence to DoD and Army regulations, including RMF and cybersecurity standards, and support the implementation of quality assurance processes.
- Maintain records of quality assurance activities, including test results and defect reports, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Work with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to identify quality issues and recommend solutions.
