Salary
: up to $90/hr -$100/hr
- 10 - 15 years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of experience leading Dev Sec Ops teams implementing in a large environment with the ability to provide strategic and hands‑on technical direction in implementing Dev Ops practice areas, including Continuous integration, delivery/deployment, and monitoring, automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management.
- Recognized Agile (e.g., SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, XP, Lean, and Scrumban) certified professional
- Ability to explain highly technical concepts to executive and non‑technical leaders.
- Ability to interact daily with C‑suite and senior executive‑level government staff.
- Ability to create a plan of action to communicate and increase the adoption of Dev Sec Ops practices and a Dev Sec Ops platform across an organization.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate ROI for the adoption and migration towards Dev Sec Ops at an organizational level.
- Skilled in creating cross‑collaboration with other technical and thought leaders within a government organization.
- Experience incorporating agile development practices with emphasis on a fast return on investment.
- Experience managing multiple software development teams concurrently in a government organization.
- Experience directing Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system implementations.
- Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Terraform.
- Experience working in AWS and Azure Government Cloud environments.
- Experience using Git Hub Enterprise, including writing Git Hub YAML workflows to include Git Action and integration with other third‑party CI/CD tools.
- Experience in understanding software development principles
- Ability to read a variety of code bases including C++/C#, Java, Ruby, Power Shell, YAML, JSON, Python, and .NET.
- Experience with the integration of automation tools such as Ansible.
- Experience integrating and working with Sonar Qube, Git Hub Advanced Security, Dependabot, Anchore/Trivy, AWS ECR.
- Experience working with containers and a micro services‑based architecture, including experience with AWS EKS / Kubernetes, ISTIO Service Mesh, Podman, Kubectl, Docker, RHEL, and Windows Server.
- Experience working in a government system and collaborating with ISSO and ISSM as part of a continuous ATO process.
- Experience working with and implementing Interactive Development Environments (IDE), such as Git Hub Code spaces, Microsoft Visual Studio, Intelli
J, Eclipse, Atom or Jet Brains. - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
