Overview
We are looking for a Dashboard Developer to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by creating interactive dashboards that highlight fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Responsibilities- Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert them into visualizations.
- Converting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision making.
- Maintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed and training users on how to interact with them.
- Performing quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy.
- Presenting monthly visualizations at large meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (or a related field).
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Must have experience and working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI (or similar dashboard platforms).
- Familiarity with SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasets.
- Ability to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and illustrate trends.
- Familiarity with R or Python for data science.
- Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards.
- Ability to obtain a Public trust and must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years.
- Strong working knowledge of R or Python for data science.

- Strong working knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Be a self-starter with a natural curiosity to understand, simplify, and explain complex data.
The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
