• We rely on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Dev Ops practices to manage an enterprise IT infrastructure that supports customer critical missions and functions.
• The focus of this position is on automating the deployment of infrastructure, code, and applications, as well as image management, to streamline development and operational processes.
• The successful candidate will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team responsible for design, implementation, integration, and support of the enterprise IT platform, which includes secure cloud‑hosted and on‑premises environments.
• Research available technology options and evaluate their performance, security, and interoperability characteristics.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues, document processes, and continuously improve automation practices, contributing to overall efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Work with third‑party tools to manage scripts, automate and monitor deployment workflows, enhancing system reliability and scalability.
• Proactively monitor the health of deployments, identify and resolve issues, and redeploy after remediation.
• Collaborate with system architects and lead engineer to maintain and improve the architecture and design of the infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions, including source code repository, deployment pipelines, and related components.
• Design, develop, and maintain technology‑specific, configurable, and reusable automation modules for network and systems infrastructure, data storage, messaging, and cybersecurity components and services.
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure configuration code for new and existing enterprise IT solutions.
• Design and implement continuous integration (CI)/continuous deployment (CD) pipelines, maintain and optimize cloud environments, and ensure efficient configuration management.
• Plan, evaluate, and execute capacity optimization, updates, upgrades, and other lifecycle activities associated with the solution; troubleshoot functional and performance problems.
• Create and maintain detailed and accurate system documentation, including design and configuration plans, design diagrams, task‑oriented procedures, operations and maintenance plans, etc.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain data flow pipelines to integrate applications and federate data among our customer’s systems.

• Clearance/Citizen Type:
  Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance REQUIRED.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Related Engineering Discipline.
• Certification:
  Compliance with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher required, must be able to obtain within six months of hire.
• Microsoft Certified Professional / Systems Engineer certification is strongly desired.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of progressive experience performing comparable systems engineering, implementation, and support functions. Advanced knowledge of IaC and Dev Ops architectures, processes, and best practices.
