Overview

Position Summary:

ECS is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will lead systems engineering activities that are crucial for enterprise application integration and architecture design. This role ensures solutions align with ARNG mission priorities, enterprise architecture standards, and cybersecurity controls, while supporting cloud migration objectives. The Systems Engineering Lead will oversee technical design reviews and system documentation, ensuring lifecycle engineering support in alignment with DoD and ARNG technical guidance.

• Lead systems engineering efforts for enterprise application integration and architecture design.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture standards and ARNG mission priorities.
• Oversee technical design reviews and the development of system documentation.
• Optimize system performance and sustainment across the enterprise.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF control implementation.
• Support modernization and cloud migration initiatives while maintaining operational continuity.
• Evaluate system requirements and develop technical solutions for complex environments.
• Guide system implementation activities in alignment with operational objectives.

• DoD 8140.03 Compliance:
  DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency level
• Certifications (one or more required):
  Security
  
  X / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSEC
• Education:
  
  Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering within DoD or Federal IT environments
• Proven experience in leading enterprise application integration and architecture design initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to ensure system interoperability across complex enterprise environments
• Experience in conducting technical design reviews and developing engineering documentation
• Ability to support configuration management discipline and operational continuity

• Clearance:
  Active Secret preferred
• Experience with ARNG or similar military environments
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF processes
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects
• Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture standards and interoperability requirements
