- Install full satellite systems at various global locations, including outdoor dish assembly and indoor electronic rack assembly.
- Participate in build of all satellite subsystems, including indoor and outdoor equipment.
- Activate services, ensure satellite acquisition, verify signal levels, isolate faults, repair or replace faulty components, and peak systems to optimize performance.
- Provide global support for satellite Operations and Maintenance activities such as periodic PMI, circuit restorations, activations, troubleshooting, infrastructure repair, and system relocations.
- Install, terminate, and test cable connections (fiber and copper) supporting the satellite system during installation or O&M projects.
- Install conduit, ladder racks, demarcation boxes, power runs, breaker panels, breakers, and other infrastructure needed for satellite installation or O&M projects.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Ability to lift, maneuver, and assemble satellite equipment up to 70 lbs. single load and 150 lbs. two-man load.
- Understanding of satellite signal flow and RF theory; maintain satellite skill set and educational levels related to current and emerging satellite technologies.
- Willingness to travel at least 50%.
- General knowledge of X, Ka, C, and Ku‑band satellite constellations.
- Working knowledge of RF theory/technology, satellite terminal systems, and satellite modems.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system environments.
- Experience with fiber‑optic transceivers and L‑band inter‑facility link terminals.
- Familiarity with test and inspection equipment and troubleshooting techniques for satellite systems.
- Ability to operate Bit Error Test, Protocol analyzer, Multimeter, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Power Meter.
- General knowledge of basic TCP/IP theory and PC‑based network test applications.
Pay Range: $70,800 - $148,600. Compensation, benefits, and learning development opportunities include healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off benefits.
