If so, joining CGI as a Senior Momentum Financials Business Analyst could be the ideal opportunity for you. We're seeking a Senior Momentum Financials Business Analyst to drive analysis, testing, documentation, and training across a suite of automation, data quality, enhancement readiness, and process improvement initiatives.
You'll join a collaborative team where you'll sharpen BPR and federal financials expertise, contribute to automation/test scripts, and help standardize reference data to strengthen reporting and controls. If you enjoy translating complex finance processes into clear requirements and repeatable improvements, this role offers an ideal mix of consulting and delivery.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Future Duties and Responsibilities- Automation Support:
Elicit/document requirements; map as-is/to‑be financial workflows; build test scripts and execute UAT for targeted automations (file handling, outbound integrations, ULO process improvements); support implementation and user training. - Data Analysis:
Analyze datasets; identify and document updates; specify configuration changes; support testing and implementation. - Business Process Support for Enhancements:
Provide information on current and upcoming system functionality; deliver demos; support testing/training; document business process impacts and help prioritize enhancements. - Process Improvement:
Identify process improvement opportunities (operational/feeder systems); document requirements and configuration; draft implementation plans; support change management, communications, and SOP/training development. - Participate in client meetings and clearly document outcomes.
- Manage task schedules; report status, risks, and issues.
- Gather requirements (business, functional and technical) using collaborative, face‑to‑face workshops with the customers, stakeholders and the development team.
- Follow established Change Request/SDLC processes to implement new functionality or issue resolutions.
- Develop and update system designs and training documentation.
- Ensure the end‑to‑end solution is proven to deliver the required business results. Drive adoption of the designed processes and solution use with stakeholders.
- 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g., business analysis, software support, client/customer support).
- 3+ Federal Financial Management Analysis experience.
- Experience and comfort facilitating client meetings, training sessions, and group presentations.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving skills.

- Communication (Oral/Written).

- Teamwork Experience.
- Affinity for mentorship of junior members of the team to coach, peer review and assist with learning business processes.
- Experience with the CGI proprietary ERP system, Momentum.
- Understanding of basic financial and accounting principles.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit‑based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $56,600.00 - $.
