Program Overview
The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.
Job DescriptionThe Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.
Task 2 — Enterprise Applications Support — delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission‑critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.
PositionSummary
ECS is seeking a Technical Writer - Junior to support the Army National Guard ENOCS program in Washington DC
. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive deployment documentation, release notes, and operational guidance that align with established Government documentation standards. This role is critical in ensuring that all documentation supports the program's change management and cybersecurity requirements, contributing to the seamless deployment and maintenance of enterprise IT systems.
Please note:
This position is contingent upon contract award.
- Develop and maintain deployment documentation for production releases.
- Prepare detailed release notes and configuration baseline documentation.
- Create installation procedures and operational guidance documents.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with change management and cybersecurity standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to document system changes and updates.
- Support version control of documentation artifacts.
- Align documentation efforts with Government standards and requirements.
- Assist in the development of technical communication strategies for enterprise systems.
- Clearance:
Secret Eligible required - S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Up to 3 years of experience in technical documentation or knowledge management within DoD or Federal IT environments.
- Proven experience in developing technical documentation for enterprise systems.
- Clearance:
Active Secret preferred - Familiarity with ARNG or DoD IT environments.
- Experience with cybersecurity documentation standards.
- Knowledge of Government change management processes.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams.
- Ability to adapt to evolving documentation requirements in a dynamic environment.
