Our federal customer relies on this program to operate and modernize a nationwide case‑management and intelligence‑analysis platform supporting complex investigative and operational workflows. The team sustains a mission‑critical system that integrates data, analytics, and organizational processes across multiple regions to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient platform for case management, trend analysis, and coordinated activities.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active U.S. government Secret level security clearance or higher to be considered for this role.
Meaningful Work and Personal Impact- Lead the Analytic team in modernization efforts
- Provide technical and management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
- Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Apply domain and expert technical knowledge with critical impact on overall project implementation
- Supervise others as needed to achieve mission goals
- Develop and deliver high‑quality data systems, reports, analytical products, and features
- Provide O&M support for existing data systems including multi‑source integrations and established extracts within the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Support, update, and deliver enterprise reporting via PowerBI dashboards
- Design, develop, support, maintain, and enhance the Enterprise Search application integrating multi‑source search results, APIs, BI functions, and Open Search features
- Contribute to AI/ML module development, maintenance, enhancement, research, and deployment for entity extraction and relationship analysis using rich unstructured datasets
- Support modernization of the agency’s broader data ecosystem using evolving Cloud and non‑Cloud technology stacks
- Follow Agile Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies as directed by the customer

Location:
Must be willing and able to work onsite in Fairfax County, VA 3 days a week and 2 days from home.
- BA/BS degree or 4 additional years of equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of in‑depth knowledge of at least one analytical or statistical language (Python, R, SQL)
- 2+ years of custom Machine Learning and AI model training experience, including supervised and unsupervised learning, and NLP expertise focused on unstructured data
- Educational background in Data Science is a plus
- 3+ years of SQL database or coding experience
- 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools
- 2+ years of experience manipulating unstructured data
