Description:

We are seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a large scale Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) federal financial management environment hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role focuses on hands on CI/CD pipeline support, Git based source control, scripting automation, and container fundamentals. You will work with Dev Sec Ops  engineers, Oracle EBS technical leads, cloud teams, and AI/ML specialists to support secure, repeatable software delivery within a high security DoD program.

This position can be located anywhere within the Continental US. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Oracle EBS and cloud hosted components, including build, test, artifact packaging, and automated deployments. . Use Git for source control, code review, branching, merge management, and enforcing repository standards. . Write and maintain scripts in Bash or Power Shell to automate build steps, environment tasks, deployment workflows, and validation routines.

. Support container based workflows using Docker (building images, running containers, understanding registries). . Run automated security checks (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, container/IaC scanning) and assist with SBOM generation and artifact signing. . Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to deployment documentation, test evidence, compliance artifacts, and release notes. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

. Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Dev Ops, CI/CD, scripting, or cloud deployment activities. . Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or similar). . Practical Git experience: branching, merging, pull requests, code review workflows. . Linux command line proficiency and experience writing scripts in Bash or Power Shell. . Docker/container understanding (images, containers, registries).

. Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearance. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:

Preferred Qualifications . Exposure to Oracle EBS environments or federal/DoD IT programs. .

Experience with Terraform or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code. . Familiarity with security scanning tools (Sonar Qube, Snyk, or similar). . Knowledge of SBOM standards and artifact signing. . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. . Cloud/Dev Ops certifications (AWS, Azure, OCI) Soft Skills . Strong communication and willingness to learn advanced Dev Sec Ops  pipelines. . Ability to follow structured release processes and collaborate across technical and functional teams.
