Sr. Tech Solution IT Analyst

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a Senior‑level IT Support Analyst to join our IT Service Desk. This role serves as the primary contact for end‑user technical support, including device setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and software support. This is a full‑time hybrid position based in Fairfax, VA, with one remote day per week available after onboarding.

The position requires up to 50% CONUS travel to deliver onsite support across MAG locations. Regular travel includes Northeast‑region sites such as Newport News, Aberdeen, Lexington Park, and Tinton Falls, with flexibility to support additional MAG facilities as operational needs arise.

• Deploy, configure, and support end‑user devices and applications
• Provide technical support via phone, remote tools, and in‑person visits
• Perform new‑hire setup and deliver onboarding training for hardware, software, and systems access
• Diagnose and resolve end‑user technical issues; elevate to internal teams or vendors when needed
• Maintain cyber security compliance on all end‑user devices, ensuring updates, policies, and protections remain in place
• Communicate status updates and resolutions clearly to users and IT leadership
• Improve documentation, workflows, and user training materials to enhance support efficiency

• 5–7 years of experience in IT support or service desk operations
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical users
• Experience supporting core business technologies (user accounts, networks, printers, conference room AV, mobile devices
• Strong hands‑on experience with laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and peripherals
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and initiative in preventing recurring issues
• Experience supporting federal civilian or DoD environments
• Proficiency with Endpoint Manager / Intune / Azure AD for imaging and device management
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience using service desk ticketing systems such as Service Now

• MD‑102 Endpoint Administrator
• MS‑102 Microsoft 365 Administrator

The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
