* The Opportunity:

** CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared candidates for Tamashek language professionals to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA.This is a TRAVEL ONLY ROLE. You will be deployed for 4 to 8 weeks' at a time and back for 4 to 8 week's.
** Responsibilities**:
* Accurately translate report/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that not only contain facts, but also some abstract language showing an ability to capture intended implications and many nuances
* Ability to capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text
** Interpretation:
*** Able to interpret accurately.  The ability to consecutive interpretation is needed, but on rare occasions simultaneous interpretation maybe required.  Has a good understanding of one of more regional dialects.
** Transcription:
*** Review audio or internet materials, transcribes with high degree of accuracy and expression.  Candidate needs to posses excellent English-language written communication skills for preparing reports.
** Additional skills:
*** Ability to identify and accurately summarize factual points as well as abstract concepts Web.
* Must posses computer skills:  including MS Office, to be able to produce written translations and products sufficient internet skills that will allow basic research on the Web
* Excellent English-language skills verbal communication skills to present briefings
** Qualifications
* ** Be a US Citizen
* Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
* Ability to pass an advanced English test
* Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test
* Ability to deploy - active passport - this is a TRAVEL ONLY ROLE
* Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation
* In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
* Master use of MS Office and internet research

*** Bachelor’s Degree
* Previous military experience
* Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects
* Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities
