Bilingual Kazakh/Russian Linguist – Travel Only

CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly‑cleared candidates for Kazakh & Russian language professionals to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA. This is a travel‑only role; you will be deployed for 4 to 8 weeks at a time and back for 4 to 8 weeks.

• Accurately translate report/texts in electronic and hard‑copy formats that contain facts and abstract language, capturing intended implications and nuances.
• Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text.
• Interpretation:
  Able to interpret accurately; consecutive interpretation is required, simultaneous interpretation may be required rarely. Good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Transcription:
  Review audio or internet materials, transcribe with high accuracy and expression. Excellent English written communication is required for report preparation.
• Identify and accurately summarize factual points and abstract concepts from web sources.
• Possess computer skills including MS Office and basic internet research.
• Excellent English verbal communication skills for briefings.

• US Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph.
• Pass advanced English test.
• Score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test.
• Deployable; active passport (travel only role).
• Minimum five (5) years professional experience in translation, transcription, and/or interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language areas.
• Mastery of MS Office and internet research.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous military experience.
• Good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities.
